Hi KC,
Would like to ask, if I’m a Malaysian and I bought Singapore REIT to generate passive income through the dividend, will the income that received subject to tax by LHDN?
And also if I sold the foreign stock example like SG or US stock, will it taxable too?
Thanks & appreciate for your help.
Rgds,
CL

Capital gain and dividend income from stocks is not taxable in Malaysia. So there is no need to declare. But keep your record. In case when LHDN ask about why you have money to buy this and that, you can show your money trail.
